MARIAL LUIZA APPY (MARLISE)
Maria Luiza Appy (Marlise) co-translated the complete work of Carl Gustav Jung into Portuguese. She has been part of the Biodanza movement since 1977 and did her entire training directly with the creator of this system, Rolando Toro Araneda. She co-directs the Sao Paulo School of Biodanza and is a member of the scientific counsel of the International Biocentric Foundation. Marlise has specializations in Minotaur Project, Four Elements, Four Animals, Biodanza and I Ching, Aquatic Biodanza, Tree of Desires, Biodanza in Organizations and Biocentric Education.
During the years of military dictatorship in Brazil (60’s and 70’s) Marlise was an active participant of the Non Violence Movement, based on Gandhi’s principles, and since then she has worked with organizations pro human rights. |

BELISA AMARO
Belisa Amaro pioneered Biodanza in the United States, where she has been teaching since 1998. She is the founder and director of the San Francisco School of Biodanza, the only certified school of Biodanza in the U.S. As a Biodanza facilitator and trainer, she has witnessed the growth and evolution of hundreds of participants in this system. Born in São Paulo, Belisa had a solid career in journalism and communication in Brazil before bringing her passionate Brazilian soul and her impulse for genuine connection to her work with Biodanza. |

DOROTEA POK
Dorotea Pok is a Biodanza Teacher based in Montréal,
Canada.A passionate traveler and fervent lover of the adventure of consciousness, she has dedicated the last twenty years to the research, studying and teaching of such diverse disciplines as Buddhist meditation, Tibetan Tantra, the Enneagram and Yoga. Since 2006, teaching Biodanza allows her to continue unveiling with awe and gratitude the beauty of humanity in every being. |
MYRIAM SOFIA LOPEZ
Director of the Bogotá School of Biodanza, in Colombia, Myriam Sofia Lopez has a strong background in health and human development. Physiotherapist with a masters in health administration, and training in bioenergetics, massage and quantum techniques, she is a specialist in losses and mourning treatments. Myriam Sofia has being training Biodanza professionals for more than 20 years and has specializations such as in “Biodanza and Shamanism”, “Minotaur Project”, and “Aquatic Biodanza”. |

HÉLÈNE LEVY-BENSEFT
Hélène Levy Benseft has been a practicioner of Biodanza since the late 70’s and a teacher of this system for a couple of decades. Trained directly from Rolando Toro Araneda she is the co-author of a couple of the books: “Rolando Toro Araneda Parle Avec Les Roses” and “La Vie au Centre -- Pour une Culture Biocentrique”. Hélène is the director of the Méditerranée School of Biodanza, in France, and a member of the international faculty of the San Francisco School of Biodanza. |

SERGIO CRUZ
Sergio Cruz pioneered Biodanza in Europe with Rolando Toro, the creator of this system. He is the director of the Bologna School of Biodanza, the president of the European Association of Biodanza Teachers, and a member of the directive and methodological council of the International Biocentric Foundation. International faculty member of the San Francisco School of Biodanza, Sergio is specialized in “Musical Semantics”, “Biodanza and Voice” and “Voice, Music and Percussion in Biodanza", among other extensions. |
ANGELINA PEREIRA
Angelina Pereira is a social worker specialized in health and gerontology. She is the co-director of the São Paulo School of Biodanza, Brazil, and is a member of the International Biocentric Foundation Scientific Council. Angelina has done extensive work in Social Services since the 80’s, working towards the development of human potential and improvement of quality of life for populations at risk and low-income groups |
